Dhaka Project
On 1st January 2008, Tenzing decided to begin contributing towards the Dhaka Project, a non-profit organisation which works towards building a self-sufficient future for disadvantaged families in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
THE DHAKA PROJECT PROVIDES:- Training for adults; helping to overcome poverty and promote self-sufficiency.
- Education for their children; creating opportunities for them in the future.
- Short-term aid; in terms of clothing, food and medicines.
We initially donated a sum equivalent to 1% of our 2007 net revenue and we pledge to continue donations in future years.
